Let’s Get Ready to Plant!

This is an upcoming program at CA & J Farm in Mathews County! Nov. 8th, 1-4pm. This program is FREE, but you need to register with VSU’s Small Farm Outreach Program…just click on this link. We will be discussing some great varieties of Apple Trees to plant in this area, also Pears and other Fruits. Fall is the best time to plant all the berries too, including Elderberry. We will also discuss Garlic! There will be a Farm Tour and hands on planting time included in this Program. We will hold the class in our Indoor Educational Center, then head outside to Discover!
