The Mathews Rotary Club warmly welcomes you to its 1st annual Party with a Purpose!
Join them for live music on the East River in Mathews, Virginia. This event features your favorite Tidewater swing band, Good Shot Judy, food trucks, beer and wine truck, and dancing at Williams Wharf Landing.
PARTY:
Food Trucks: Gumbeau’s Catering will be preparing delicious cajun cuisine and homemade brats! On the Flip Side will be offering their famous American-Asian cuisine from lumpia, hibachi rice, to sushi and more! Dessert will be available to purchase from Doodle’s Donuts and Cafe and Short Lane Ice Cream Co!
Beer & Wine Truck (cash bar) will also be present! Bring your own chair!

PURPOSE:
This year’s purpose includes a project to rebuild the New Point Comfort Lighthouse Observation Deck – the only public access area in Mathews for residents and visitors to enjoy views of the Natural Area Preserve and New Point Comfort Lighthouse beacon. By attending this party, you will help the Mathews Rotary Club’s goal to ensure this landing can be restored and enjoyed by the community and its visitors for many years to come!
