Markets on Main

April 14, 2023 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

  • « Let’s Farm Day!
  • Movie Night at the Museum: BLUE GOLD »

Join us on 3rd Saturdays, April through August

April 15th kicks off our 2023 season, with live music from Ami Baker on the Historic Courthouse from 11 AM – 2 PM, and Gabe Westergren at the Bay School from 1 PM – 3 PM! The Bay School is also hosting its annual Raku Firing Fundraiser at the same time as Markets on Main on Saturday- it’s $30 to glaze and fire your own bowl, and you can watch the whole process! Bring a chair and sit in the backyard while your bowl is in the kiln while listening to the live music and enjoying some coffee or cocoa! See the Bay School’s website for more details and to reserve your spot!

Markets on Main features the Saturday Farmers Market, Boutique Vendors and Retailers along Main Street, Artisan Market and special events at the Bay School Community Arts Center, Live Music and Entertainment, and Food Specials!

This is a partnership between downtown organizations hosted by the Mathews Main Street Committee, Mathews Visitor Center, Bay School Community Arts Center and numerous retail store, and sponsored by the Mathews Economic Development Authority and Chesapeake Bank!
