The Market takes place every Saturday, April through October on the Courthouse Green from 9am to 1pm. Food, flowers, and gifts galore! Our vendors feature a variety of fresh vegetables, along with homemade bread and bakery goods, eggs, and meat. In addition, our vendors offer plants, flowers (potted and bouquets), handmade crafts, clothing, and jewelry. Sibley’s General Store has been central to the Mathews County Downtown Historic District since the store was constructed in 1899. Serving our community for over 120 years, the impacts of time and climate have not gone easy on the historically registered building.
