Historic Garden Week

April 20, 2024 - April 21, 2024

  • « Smith Family & Friends Christmas Show
  • Markets on Main »

The Garden Club of Gloucester and Mathews is sponsoring this year’s Garden Week tours!

Gloucester will have two separate tours this year, each requiring its own ticket:  the Saturday tour will feature three homes and the new Fine Arts Museum of Gloucester, and the Sunday tour will feature a multi-acre garden with sculpture throughout.  Each tour is an art lover’s delight.  Their owners have cultivated beautiful gardens and collected paintings, sculptures, and objets d’art in their travels.  Visitors will want to linger and take in the variety and quality of these collections, impressive in their sheer numbers.

The three houses on Saturday’s tour are The Mazzzocco Home, River Promise, and Paget – all overlooking the scenic Ware River.  The Sunday tour will feature the Gardens of Goshen, which are expansive and filled with world-class sculptures by renowned artists tucked into small gardens and spread across the sweeping lawn fronting the Ware River. Please note, admission to the Gardens of Goshen requires a separate ticket.
