An ambitious young reporter, Katherine Plumber, working hard to make a name for herself as a legitimate journalist in a time when women aren’t taken seriously, attempts to capture the voice of a rising new generation in her coverage of the strike.
Based on the 1992 Disney film and inspired by a true story, “Newsies” features a Tony Award-winning score.
