Annual event celebrating the maritime history of Mathews County, VA. This year will be celebrated with an old-fashioned patriotic assembly at MHS at 4pm. The event will include a maritime quilt raffle, book-signing event by author Bill Geroux, music, WWII calendar debut, and much more. Celebration starts early with a movie on May 20. The Mathews Film Society will show “ACTION In The NORTH ATLANTIC” at 7pm, third floor of Halcyon Building, with refreshments available.
