Situated on a secluded creek off the Chesapeake Bay in charming Mathews County, the Inn has over 800ft of waterfront and 6 acres of wooded and open spaces. The Main House on the property is an 1800’s farmhouse with 3 guest rooms that has been lovingly and thoughtfully renovated in 2025 by new Innkeepers Sherry and Ridge Crewss.
The property also boasts 2 cottages which house 3 luxury suites and an additional standard guest room as well. The cottages are detached from the main house and offer a little more privacy and amenities.
The Inn at Tabbs Creek is just the place if you appreciate the natural splendor of the outdoors and want the luxury and comfort of a casual but upscale B&B with a heated pool and stunning gardens. Use our complimentary kayaks for a sunrise or sunset paddle, or spend the day biking to a local beach, or enjoy a little birdwatching! OR just spend your day right here at the Inn enjoying any one of our many activities, like fishing or crabbing, or just reading with a water view.
The grounds have much to offer: take a dip in our heated pool (now open year-round), or stroll through the gardens enjoying the blooms and butterflies. Relax anytime of the year on the all-season back porch and catch some of the most amazing sunsets!
