Description
Foster’s Bethel Beach Inn is a beautiful, fully-restored Antebellum farmhouse built in 1834. Enjoy your private suite with queen size Sleep Comfort bed, leather seating area, and free cable tv and wifi. The Pineapple Suite has a full private, newly renovated bath and is accessed via personal coded entry. Right outside you can enjoy having your coffee or tea on your private deck that has comfortable seating and looks out to the sunrise through the pine forest. A short lighted path through the woods leads you to our new dock overlooking Winter Harbor.
Our guests truly enjoy the tranquility. You can also enjoy a bonfire in the backyard firepit with the provided wood. Guest parking is available at the foot of your deck stairs, and guests are welcome to enjoy the hot tub on the large front porch as well. You can listen to the sounds of wildlife around you, explore the forest on the property, and even take our kayaks to the boat launch around the corner at
Winter Harbor. Just 1.5 miles down our road is Bethel Beach, a very private preserve with sandy beach on the Chesapeake Bay. (Dogs are permitted on leash.) Just 5 minutes away is the bustling town of Mathews, Virginia for shopping and great variety of dining. Also, the Inn is within 30 miles of Williamsburg, Yorktown, Gloucester and Newport News Va. for sightseeing, activities and fine dining.
