4th Annual Ducks Unlimited Wetlands Conservation Banquet
The Piankatank River Chapter of Virginia Ducks Unlimited will hold its 4th Annual Wetlands Conservation Banquet at the Piankatank Ruritan Club on Thursday, October 3, 2024, beginning at 6 PM. Proceeds from this event are used to support wetlands conservation in Mathews County, the Commonwealth of Virginia and in the United States. Everyone is welcome to attend. Help area Master Gardeners and Volunteers prepare garden beds around the historic home place of the Mathews Men. A wonderful volunteer opportunity to help Mathews County Canine Companions' new home! Help needed with the following: Weeding, trimming, planting, mulching. Master gardeners and landscapers will be on site to lend help and provide direction.
