Walkers & Runners Group
Join a growing group of walkers and runners on Saturday mornings 8am at Mathews YMCA parking lot. All paces & abilities are welcome and you don't need to be a member of the Y to participate. Occasionally, folks bring bicycles to ride - you'll always find company & variety of activities!

Red Cross Blood Drive
Red Cross Blood Drive! The drive runs from 2-7PM at the Piankatank Ruritan Building at Hudgins and walk-ins are accepted. Appointments decrease the wait time and can be made at redcrossblood.org. All blood types are in demand; there is no substitute for blood. Call 804 725-2485 with questions.First time donors, drink extra water and come give it a try! 3 people are helped with every donation. Let's go Christmas Caroling! Caroling on a creek! This event is sponsored by Mobjack Kayaking. Meet with your kayak at Hudgins Horn Harbor Marina at 5pm, December 14th to decorate kayaks. The paddle will leave from the Marina at 5:30pm (please get there early) and sing carols stopping at various docks; the owners will have been pre-notified of our caroling.
