Family Movie Night: Peter Rabbit
Meet Your Kids at the Bay School for a Movie Night! Friday, March 1. The kids can take the bus from school or you can drop them off at 3:00 at Mathews Memorial Library for rabbit time. They will read Peter Rabbit and another book about rabbits, learn about rabbits, and do two rabbit crafts. We will provide a snack or you can send one with your child. Comprised mostly of beginner or intermediate gardeners, Mathews Gardening Group meetings are held the fourth Wednesday of each month (except November and December- third Wednesdays), and will offer regional experts as speakers to continuously improve and sharpen each member's gardening skills. Join the Mathews Memorial Library for a lecture by author Margaret Edds. What The Eyes Can’t See provides a revealing examination of race in the nation, how racism might be addressed and reckoned with, and how we all may find a measure of redemption in listening to one another. Mathews Farmers Market
The Market takes place every Saturday, April through October on the Courthouse Green from 9 am to 1 pm. Food, flowers, and gifts galore! Our vendors feature a variety of fresh vegetables, along with homemade bread and bakery goods, eggs, and meat.
