The Regional Chapter (Northern Neck-Middle Peninsula) of the Virginia Aeronautical Historical Society (VAHS) is proud to host the monthly luncheon presentation on Thursday, July 20th at 11:30 am, featuring John “Jack” Yunker, Sr., resident of Heathsville, and the story of the Liberty Ships, WWII life-line transports and the objects of the eventual air defense innovations that turned the tables on Germany’s dreaded U-boats in the North Atlantic.
