Movie Night at the Museum: Grand Opening Night!

Join us on the red carpet at the grand opening and viewing of:
HAPPY HOMES and FERTILE FARMS on SMILING WATERS
An original movie, originally produced in 1999 by longtime county resident Eugene C. Hudgins, who narrates the film. Mathews County was the subject of his interest for many years. The history of the area was a special love of his and as he shows and talks about the county, one can feel the love and pride that he has for it. The Museum is proud and pleased to showcase this movie.
6:00 Doors open for reception. Refreshments/popcorn provided. There is no cost for this event.
6:30 Welcome by Movie Night Chair, Tom Robinson, and Coles Hudgins, son of movie producer Eugene C. Hudgins, has agreed to join us and speak about his father and the genesis of the film.
7:00 Movie begins! Please allow enough time in your schedule to view the film which runs for 111 minutes. “So sit back and enjoy,” as Mr. Hudgins urges in his video.
