Holiday Concert

The Courthouse Community Orchestra will present a “Holiday Concert” on November 19, 2017 in the Mathews High School Auditorium beginning at 3 PM. The program will feature a selection of seasonal favorites including “Sleigh Ride” and “A Christmas Festival” (both by Leroy Anderson) as well as “Fantasia on Greensleeves” by Ralph Vaughan Williams, “White Christmas” by Irving Berlin, and other audience pleasing music including “Ashokan Farewell” by Jay Ungar, “Take Five” by Paul Desmond, and “Little Irish Suite”, also by Leroy Anderson. Join us for a delightful musical event just right for a Sunday afternoon.

The concert is free.

The orchestra is a volunteer group of local residents. It is conducted by Guy Hayden.
