A long-time dedicated resident and professional sail instructor, Michael Schmidt of Mathews, is trying to help others fulfill their long-time interest on the water – learning how to sail. Michael’s mission is to continue the Maritime tradition of Mathews.
If you have never found the right opportunity, now is your chance to join a local Mathews Sailing Team for all levels to learn how to sail on the Bay.
Spring Training will be held from March 3rd-May 16th, encouraging novice level to sailing masters to tag along.
The Mathews Sailing team is a community sponsored program, approved through the State Corporation Commission and associated with Virginia Interscholastic Sailing Association (VISA).
