Mathews County is having its first ever Seafood Festival, and one of your favorite suppliers is hosting!
Sea Farms has grown into an international seafood supplier based out of Hudgins in Mathews County, right on the Chesapeake Bay. This company has been around since 1987, when owner Ron Sopko opened this family-style seafood wholesale business.
You may have noticed that they’ve been growing – Sea Farms Seafood Shack now sits on Mathews Main Street Wednesdays through Saturdays in summer with fresh supplies of whatever you can get your hands on: shrimp, salmon, haddock, cod, lobster, oysters, clams, mahi, and more favorites are ready for you to purchase bay-to-table on any given week. Rob will hook you up!
This Mathews business has decided to give the community what its been asking for and, the best part? All of the proceeds of this year’s Seafarms Seafood Festival goes to our first responders!
For $50 a person, come enjoy all you can eat seafood on August 17th, and music by Matt Sease and Tom Euler Trio. The festival also features beer and wine, local craft vendors and beautiful views of the East River down at William’s Wharf.
