This safety guide, authored and illustrated by the Thomas Family in Mathews, is available for families to pick up, or download for free.
The 20 page book shows the importance of dock safety for kids of all ages. It features hand drawn illustrations with lessons and activities to engage children on what to do and not to do while near the water, identifying potential safety hazards, and when to ask for help. The illustrations are in black and white for kids to color.
The family dedicated this guide to baby Noah, and want others to be able to use this guide to help educate their loved ones on dock safety.
