The home of the Mathews County Visitor & Information Center has many new elements, but we made sure to keep your favorites intact. Thanks to the generosity of our community, we raised enough money to lift, stabilize and renovate the beautiful historic building, and we are so proud to show off all of the hard work.
Please join us for our Grand Reopening Celebration on Saturday, August 5th! We will be doing a “ribbon-cutting” ceremony at 10 AM, and then we will officially be open for business!
There will be live music by local favorite Pianktank, a raffle for a gift basket valued at over $200, a lemonade stand, light refreshments, and of course, unique hand-crafted goods for sale from our local artists!
We can’t wait to see you all next Saturday!
