Mathews Outdoor Club was formed in 2021 with a mission to encourage and facilitate the use of Mathews County outdoor spaces to the fullest. Whether you’re interested in a competitive athletic event, a leisure activity with your family and friends, or eager to learn about & explore the unique topography of the Virginia tidewater region, the MOC is here to assist.
Mathews Outdoor Club provided guides for kayak or SUP (bring your own), or other non-motorized craft of your choosing. One-on-one paddles are available as well as group outings – at a fast or slow pace. Tours are available for 2-3 hours and will include a picnic.
The boat tour start & finish location will be flexible: some of the water destinations and launch locations are inaccessible during very low tides so we will schedule the start, finish and tour stops on the tide schedule.
