4th Annual Ducks Unlimited Wetlands Conservation Banquet
The Piankatank River Chapter of Virginia Ducks Unlimited will hold its 4th Annual Wetlands Conservation Banquet at the Piankatank Ruritan Club on Thursday, October 3, 2024, beginning at 6 PM. A special quilting exhibit, “Threads of Our History: Quilts of Mathews Virginia,” will debut at the Mathews Museum, October 5 and will be on exhibit through the end of December. These quilts are from a private collection of an old Mathews family, going back over a century. Mathews is a small, rural southern county sitting on the Chesapeake Bay.
