Mathews County Christmas Parade 2016 – “Christmas Melodies”
Mathews County Annual Christmas Parade, Saturday December 10 at 1pm. The parade will run from THMS to the Bank of America Building. Anyone interested in registering a float for the parade can obtain a registration form from the visitors center.

Bayside Youth Ballet will present their annual Christmas performance on Sunday, December 18 at 2:00PM at the Harry M. Ward Auditorium at Mathews High School. Market Days Race
The Mathews Family YMCA is pleased to once again host the 5k-plus race* and 1-mile fun run this year in conjunction with the annual Mathews Market Days festival. Both races start and end at the YMCA (10746 Buckley Hall Road, Mathews). Awards will be presented to the fastest Male & Female overall 5k-plus finisher, and to the top finishers in 9 age groups.
