Mathews Marathon & Half Marathon October 15, 7am mocva.com/marathon Run along peaceful, rural backroads in beautiful Mathews County, Virginia. Enjoy the fast, flat course that winds through dirt, gravel and paved roads and past the serenity of one of Virginia's last great countrysides. Registration will close on October 9 - cost is $50 for Half Marathon, $75 for Full Marathon. East River Lighted Christmas Boat Parade
Come view the fun and funky East River holiday lighted boat parade from the boardwalk or pier at Williams Wharf Landing this Saturday 12/3. Parade starts at 5:30 with a first pass by Williams Wharf at 6pm, and a second after making the trip north to Town Point and back! Free parking is available onsite, fire pits to stay warm, plus cookies and warm beverages available!
