Christmas at the Museum
Winners of the art raffle will be announced at 4:30 p.m.! There is still time to come by on Saturday and purchase some raffle tickets. Hot cider and cookies will be served, a donation requested. Please come by and select some artful Christmas presents from our collection!

Join this art & community event to raise money for the food bank at Hands Across Mathews. For a $15 donation, you receive a hand-made pottery bowl and a simple lunch of homemade soup, bread, cookies, and water. This event is a joint endeavor of the Bay School, Hands Across Mathews, and the Clay by the Bay Ceramics Guild.

Gingerbread houses are a Christmas tradition that will be observed at the library. Young people ages 6-13 are invited to celebrate the magic of the season in a creative adventure to design and build a gingerbread house. To make the job easier, we will supply the necessary building materials. A prize will be given for the finest and most creative “cookie cottage.” Festive ginger cookies and hot chocolate will be served.

Sam Forrest would like to invite anyone in the community to Hyco House on Christmas morning for a community feast, and small gift exchange. 6th Annual MVRS Super Bowl Chili Cook-Off
All you can eat Community Fundraiser to benefit a number of civic organizations including both The Mathews Volunteer Rescue Squad and The Mathews Volunteer Fire Department!
