Gloucester House and Garden Tour – Historic Garden Week in Virginia
Gloucester County's rich history dates from just after the settlement at Jamestown in 1607 and its role during the American Revolution was pivotal. Music on Maple Ave
Join us for the first Music on Maple Ave. located in the shared space of the Mathews Memorial Library Courtyard, Sibley's General Store, and Thomas James Store on 44 Maple Ave., Mathews. Come out and enjoy great food, fun and fellowship at Central United Methodist Men's Semi-annual Steamed Shrimp Dinner. The dinner features steamed shrimp along with baked beans, Cole slaw, hush puppies, homemade desserts and drinks and hot dogs. Donation of $17.00 to eat in or $16.00 for takeouts. Westville Chili Supper
The supper will be held Saturday March 7 from 5:00PM to 7:00PM at the Westville Christian Church Fellowship Hall (next to the library). The cost is only $8.00 and includes chili and all the fixins plus cornbread, beverage and dessert - eat in or take out. Everyone is welcome. Proceeds go to the church men's ministries.
