Dr. Lynn Rainville

Dr. Lynn Rainville, Dean of Sweet Briar College, will speak about her book “Virginia and the Great War.” Rainville is a nationally recognized scholar whose book explores the role played by Virginia and Virginians in World War I, from its beginning in 1914 through its conclusion in 1919 when American troops finally returned home. Her research for the book focused on the contributions made by civilian and military Virginia residents.
