Donk’s Theater

Bay School Community Arts Center
If you’re into art in any way you’re gonna want to visit the Bay School. They offer classes in nearly every discipline, and feature national, regional and local artists in their ‘Art Speaks’ Gallery. Located on Main Street in Mathews. Visit: BaySchool-Arts.com
Bethel Beach
83 acres of natural habitat with dunes, tidal ponds and ultra wide views of the Chesapeake Bay. Note that Bethel Beach is home to nesting birds and endangered species, please tread lightly. View Area Beaches
Farmers Market at Court Square
Fresh fruit, vegetables, snacks, and gifts from area farms every Saturday morning from 9a.m -1p.m. at the Historic Mathews Courthouse Square. April through October.
Williams Wharf Landing
The place to be for access to the East River. Three acres of waterfront open space with pier fishing, floating docks, shoreline walkways, an open-air pavilion, and viewing tower. Pavilion and facilities open to the public year round sunrise to sunset. Home of the Mathews Land Conservancy and headquarters to the award winning Mathews High School Crew Team.
Sunsets at New Point Preserve
Grab some friends and head down to the New Point Preserve for amazing sunsets year round over the Mobjack Bay. This location is favored by locals who gather with friends on the observation walkway for a perfect way to end the day.
