Gilbert Klingel: Man of Steel
Film Director/Producer Dave Miller to introduce his newest film project: “Gilbert Klingel: Man of Steel” on Tuesday, March 7 at 7 pm at the Gwynn’s Island Civic League building. 2018 Middle Peninsula Spring Oyster Fair
The TOGA-sponsored Annual Spring Oyster Fair will be held on April 28th, at 9am at the Gwynn's Island Civic Center. THE EVENT This event runs in conjunction with the Annual Gwynn's Island Festival in late June. In Hawaiian, Kukini means "swift runner or messenger, employed by old chiefs, with a premium on their speed" - come enjoy the Island-themed event around Mathews County Virginia's Gwynn's Island! Gwynn’s Island Festival 8k, 5k, and 1 Fun Mile
This running event is held annually to coincide with the Gwynn's Island Festival on the last weekend of June. Participants can register on line for race and decide which distance they want (8k or 5k) during the race! Bring the entire family & stick around for the festival - the 1 mile run/walk is free!

Gwynn’s Island Road Race
The 2020 Gwynn’s Island Race is ON for June 27 – under a new, social distance racing format. Outdoor exercise is encouraged — providing that we all adhere to the group size limitations and social distancing.
