DESCRIPTION:Come out and enjoy great food\, fun and fellowship at Central United Methodist Men’s Annual Steamed Shrimp Dinner.  The dinner features steamed shrimp along with baked beans\, coleslaw\, hush puppies\, homemade desserts and drinks and hot dogs. Donation of $19.00 to eat in or $18.00 for takeouts.  Children 5-10\, $6.00 and those under 5 eat for free.  All proceeds benefit local church and community outreach!  Tickets available in advance by calling 725-8673 or at the door while available.

SUMMARY:Mathews Micro Triathlon Series #1
DESCRIPTION:Mathews Micro Triathlon Series (MMTS) Event #1\n\nTri Series Event 1 – Online Registration Link: https://www.webscorer.com/register?raceid=207732 – $22 \n1/4 mile swim\, 8 mile bike\, 2 mile run – split timing for each leg of the triathlon and for transitions. Race day signup is available starting at 8am and the transition area will be open at that time as well. Participants should be ready-to-go (for the swim start) at 8:30am. \nWe’ll have brief race instructions and Q&A time before the event and start as close to 8:30am as possible. Please check Micro-Triathlon Page for course details and route map (vttrunners.com/mmts). \nAWARDS will be presented at the end of the series to the fastest overall finisher and (depending on number of participants) to fastest swimmer\, cyclist\, runner\, and transitioner – combined time for all 4 events. If you miss an event\, we will use the final finishing time for that event as your time for purposes of the Series. Overall winner will be ineligible for other awards. \nSERIES SWAG: Anyone completing all 4 series events will receive a MMTS Hoodie Sweatshirt at the final series event. Sweatshirts will also be available for sale by request ($35). \nParticipants must be at least 14 years of age.\nParent consent will be required at time of registration for any participants 14-17 years old \n\n\nCost: $22
