DESCRIPTION:Don’t miss the first annual Autumn on Main and Vintage Market – a fall welcoming in Mathews County.  \nStart your day at the Sibley’s General store to pick up your maps\, free coffee\, apple cider and muffins! Sibley’s Pumpkin Market will be taking place from 10am-3pm where you can purchase a $5 raffle ticket to include: one pumpkin\, face painting\, a free photo at Trend Masters for your family\, and a chance to win a gift basket! Sibley’s will also have local artists demonstrate their fall-themed arts and crafts to celebrate American Craft Week. Dozens of vendors will be lined up along Mathews Main Street selling vintage goods and antique treasures between 9am-2pm. Prior to that she performed in the national tour of Wicked\, The Drowsy Chaperone and has starred with numerous symphony orchestras across the country.  Originally from Yorktown\, Virginia\, Tiffany received a BFA from the Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music where she studied Opera and Musical Theater. During her time in Cincinnati\, she won the title of Miss Ohio 2002 and went on to compete in the Miss America Pageant in Atlantic City. Tiffany is equally passionate about helping others grow and excel as performers. \nCost: $25 and students are free

DESCRIPTION:Archaeology in the Palm of Your Hand: Using Drones and 3D Printing to Bring Fairfield Plantation to Life \nAshley McCuiston\, Fairfield Foundation’s Public Outreach Coordinator and Digital Curator \nThe Fairfield Foundation is using new technology to reimagine public archaeology and historic preservation on the Middle Peninsula. Using drone photography and 3D printing\, the organization is developing an interactive 3D printed model of Gloucester’s Fairfield Plantation that can be taken apart like a puzzle\, simulating the process of archaeology and bringing the thrill of discovery from the field to the classroom. Furthermore\, they are exploring new ways to use this technology to preserve endangered historic resources and inspire new interest in local history. \nCome join us to explore this exciting new way to discover our history! \n
