DESCRIPTION:The 5th Annual MVRS Chili Cook-Off on Saturday\, February 3\, 2018 features six (6) non-profit civic groups competing for the BEST CHILI in Mathews County! \nAlways held the day before the Super Bowl\, this is the event NOT to miss during the long winter months! Besides great all you can eat food\, this is a time to catch up with others who also might have “cabin fever”! \nThe majority of the proceeds benefit the Mathews Volunteer Rescue Squad and every organization there also raises funds for their charity causes. Our motto is “HELP US\, HELP OTHERS!” as all funds raised go back to help Mathews citizens! Everything is provided and you get to be a voter for the People’s Choice Award. The other award is the Judge’s Award and is decided by a panel of professional food judges. Bring the entire family and join us for a great community event and take home some chili for your own Super Bowl Party. Please see flyer for all the details!
