DESCRIPTION:Your favorite Ukulele group is coming back to the Sibley’s General Store on July 4th weekend! \nStop by to hear them jam on July 3rd\, 11am – 1pm. \nAbout the Ukesters: \nA small group of stray ukulele players in Richmond found each other in 2015 and began to practice around a dining room table. Word got out\, and soon there were 10 of us with a book of songs ever expanding. Today we are a group of some 22 players\, most of whom have been with us for at least five years. With an occasional accordion\, clarinet\, banjo\, autoharp  and steel drum\, we play a variety of songs—familiar uke songs from the 1930s\, Beetles\, gospel\, popular and bluegrass. We are a dedicated group\, having as much fun as we can. We practice weekly and until Covid\, had a regular schedule performing for retirement communities in and around Richmond.
