Ward Auditorium\, Mathews High School\, 9889 Buckley Hall Road\, Mathews\, VA\nShows start at 8:00 p.m.  –   Doors Open at 7:30 p.m.\nTickets are $15 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under (Available at the door\, or in advance at the Mathews Visitor Center on Main Street\, Mathews\, or Marketplace Antiques\, Route 17\, Gloucester) \nApril 2 – ALL STAR OPRY – Welcome back the Opry band and cast for the 47th year! \nMay 14 – OLDIES SHOW – This show is sure to take you back in time to the “good ol’ days” of country and rock and roll at its best! \nJune 25 – A.J. MCKEEN – This show will feature a Gloucester native with an amazing raw talent and a voice that rivals Chris Stapleton.  The first half will feature the Opry band and singers. \nJuly 23 – SOUNDS OF SUMMER – The best of beach music\, Jimmy Buffett and summertime in the Country! \nAugust 20 – TRIBUTE TO THE EAGLES \nSeptember 17 – TALENT SEARCH 2022 \nOctober 8 – WILLIAM EARL SADLER’S TRIBUTE TO RICKY HUDGINS – Mathews’ native and lead guitar legend\, Ricky Hudgins\, passed away in 2021.  This show will honor him and his love of Classic Southern Rock.  The first half will feature the Opry band and singers. \nNovember 12 – GOSPEL SHOW – What an uplifting night this will be!  Join the Opry band and singers\, along with some wonderful guest stars for an amazing night of inspirational music! \nDecember 3 – SMITH FAMILY & FRIENDS CHRISTMAS SHOW \n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

DESCRIPTION:Join us on 3rd Saturdays\, April through August\nMarkets on Main features the Saturday Farmers Market\, Boutique Vendors and Retailers along Main Street\, Artisan Market at the Bay School Community Arts Center\, Live Music and Entertainment at the Farmers Market and on the Sibley’s General Store porch\, and a food truck! \nStay tuned for additional information on featured musicians and vendors! \nEnjoy yourself a full day on Main Street\, and also enjoy the local museums\, Friends of the Library Book Store\, and many wonderful restaurants downtown. \nInterested in Being a Vendor?\nWould you like to be a vendor at this event? We’re seeking vintage\, boutique\, antique\, repurpose\, and retail inspired vendors in the region. Vendors are asked to set up from 10am to 3pm on the day of the event\, and pay a $10 fee.
