SUMMARY:Mathews Community Health Screening
DESCRIPTION:A community health screening for Mathews County residents will be held at\nAntioch Baptist Church (110 Antioch Rd. in Susan) on Thursday\, April 15 th from 5-\n7 p.m. Screening services offered will include body mass index\, blood pressure and HbA1c (test for determining diabetes). \nScreenings will be conducted by clinical staff and volunteers of Gloucester Mathews\nCare Clinic\, and this screening is made possible through a grant from the Mathews\nRotary Club. Rotarians will also be on hand to provide additional volunteer\nsupport. \nParticipants will also receive health information related to diabetes and\nhypertension\, information on eligibility and services offered by GMCC\, along with\nhealthy snacks. Those without health insurance are encouraged to attend.
